We can help introduce the “electronic whiteboards” to your schools with completed installations. You have to keep kids’ attention and equipment has to work easily because teachers are pressed for time. We all know that. But we also know that systems have to be reliable – and resilient to the tiny little bumps, drops and accidents that might take place over the course of the day.
An electronic whiteboard may refer to any of the following:
- An electronic whiteboard is a hardware device that is similar to a whiteboard that is found in schools and businesses. It transmits any information written it to a computer or multiple computers. They also allow live interaction with digital objects on the screen. The picture is the SMART Board 800 from SMART Technologies and an example of an electronic whiteboard.
- An electronic whiteboard is a software program that runs on the computer and resembles a whiteboard. A user, such as a teacher, could draw on the electronic whiteboard within the program, and that image is distributed to multiple computers.
Partners in teaching
Large-scale audiovisual planning can be overwhelming, particularly if you are converting a space that wasn’t originally designed for either. But whether you’re essentially starting from scratch or planning a major upgrade, you will want to work with an experienced partner for your design/build requirements. Consultation takes on many different dimensions, including seating arrangements and even wall coverings. As you can imagine, it’s not just about wires, speakers, podiums and control centers.
We invite you to bring us in during the early stages – even before you even look at equipment. We’ll save you a lot of time, energy, and, potentially, confusion.
This is industry-speak for integrative audiovisual technologies that are now the norm for nearly any kind of installation – business, nonprofit or education. Have a war room or multiple huddle spaces? Do you often require educational collaborations?
Through wireless technology – and with a minimum of device configuration – people suddenly transform from being casual observers to active collaborators
Classrooms need to be outfitted, from the smaller, more intimate rooms with maybe an interactive whiteboard, to several-hundred-seat lecture halls with advanced video and enhanced audio capabilities, including a complete set of recording options. You may have heard about BYOD – “Bring Your Own Device”; it’s exactly what it sounds like. Phones, iPads and other tablets, and laptops can all integrate powerfully in instructor-moderated collaborative or presentation sessions.
Please contact us if you’re thinking about designing a new room or re-doing an existing one. We love to provide input at the beginning of a project because that’s when you have the most flexibility and the most opportunity to get everything right– so that the final product is exactly as we envisioned it together.
Video Conference Rooms
Want a video-conference setup in your conference room or boardroom that simply does the basics – or one that’ll be the jaw-dropping envy of your clients, partners or potential investors? We run the gamut. With professional-grade systems that fit nicely into any budget, we’ll look at the room and make suggestions to achieve an exceptional audio and video experience. There’s nothing worse than looking at a terrible image or hearing unintelligible audio – well, unless the system itself doesn’t work at all!
